What Sydney can learn from Brisbane in a bid to Keep Sydney Open.
While Brisbane Cabinet voted to scrap lock-out laws in Queensland, Sydney saw rally opposing those very laws shut down thanks to the NSW Police Commissioner. This, it seems it the tale of two cities. And we know which one we’d rather be hanging in post 11pm.
Sure Sydney-siders, Mike Baird’s gone (hip hip hooray) and we’ve now got a new Premier (hel-lo Gladys), but we’re a long way to playing catch-up with our cousins in the warmer climate.
Our tip? Jump a flight and head to the place you can party all night. After all, it’s nicknamed Brisvegas for a reason. Post July, there will be NO LOCKOUT LAWS.
Here’s your must-packs. Sequinned mini dresses – and lots of them – from Sunday Muse, and Lioness (move on over Studio 54). Plus party-ready essentials – think dresses, skirts and camis – from Ruby Sees All, Talulah and B Runway.
See ya soon Brissie.
