Since a humble beginning in 2003, sudo has fast become one of the world’s pioneers in the children’s fashion industry.
The past 6 years has seen sudo earn more than a cult like following from its customers and retailers alike and received international acclaim with Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie constantly photographed with their children dressed head to toe in sudo.
The fashion forward label creates adult like styling and quality and packages it into a truly trend forward label for kids aged 2 to 12 years.
The garments are all beautifully made and scream attention to detail, whether it is from the quirky linings, custom rivets and zippers or seasonal graphic print or embroidery.
The brand is committed to not only moving forwards every season, but strives to constantly refine their own knowledge and skills in and ever-changing fashion industry.
The Design Team
Sudo’s driving force comes from Terry Lay, a life long fashion advocate and father of 3 Terry graduated from Deakin University with a degree in Industrial Design & Engineering.
However after having his first child quickly realized there was a huge gap in the children’s fashion market, and set about creating an on trend, fashion forward children’s wear brand that offers both superior styling and quality.
Terry and his wife Rachael have constantly pushed the boundaries of children’s clothing and have created a signature look that is instantly recognizable as sudo.
The past year has seen another senior addition to Sudo’s design team.
Gavin Robbins a graduate of The Melbourne School of Fashion, Gavin earned qualifications in Fashion Design, Fashion Business & Merchandising and Product Development.
Adding 10 years of industry experience from retail management, buying and offshore development and manufacturing, Gavin is what Terry considers an all-rounder and someone who will further allow sudo to develop into a complete lifestyle brand in the near future.
The Sudo Kid
The Sudo kid is an uber cool trendsetter.
Not afraid to stand out in a crowd, they do so without having to scream and shout.
The Sudo silhouette moves between a slim tailored look and crosses over into low slung and soft draping shapes that are as comfortable as they are cool.
Soft colours and interesting fabric mixes create a huge amount of subtle detail and allow the kids to constantly have fun with their outfits.
It’s simple, if you want your kids to look as fashionable as you do, dress them in Sudo.
Sudo is currently stocked in over 80 boutiques across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong & Germany
