Sure summer means beach hangs and long days. But it also spells summer romances. And we all know that relationship goals start with the finding the perfect outfit for that perfect date. Job. Done.

Dating can be scary! That’s why sometimes the perfect first get-together is a laidback one. Grabbing a coffee or a juice in the sunshine and chatting like old mates means you can relax and be yourself. Think denim cut-offs, cute sandals and some eye-catching earrings.

Sunset drinks in an ace setting makes for an ideal date. You can people-watch, test out his wine knowledge (V important) and see where the night takes you. Show your edge in a short skirt with heels for the never-ending leg look.

There’s nothing nicer than a bit of wining and dining. Getting all dressed up and going out for a night of food and fun is the best part of any romance. Use these date nights to flaunt your show-stopping dresses. Go all out but make sure it’s not too body-hugging - you want room for dessert!

What’s better than hanging out on the couch with the guy you like? Not much unless you add a pizza in the mix. But just because you’re chilling out doesn’t mean you can’t have a cute outfit to wear. A relaxed playsuit or a comfy T-shirt dress is the perfect choice for a night like this.  (PJs are good too, but you might want to wait til you’ve had a few dates before pulling these babies out!)

Summer means spending quality time by the water while the sun is shining, so what’s a better summer date than a beach hang? Splashing about in the waves makes for some great flirting. Throw a cute kaftan over your bikini for sand time and find some statement sunnies and you’re date ready.

Nothing gets the heart rate going like a summer romance, or a summer hike. A cute date idea is to get outdoors and explore. Hike along the coast, through the bush or up a mountain and whip out your finest activewear to impress him. He’ll be working up a sweat in no time.
