Stiic to the Season
Rue Stiic talk styles.
All the insider info on their latest collection.
Beautifully made individual pieces with a timeless shape and colour palette have always been a winner for the Rue Stiic label. Now their new-season collection, St Palma is here and it’s got colours and patterns to swoon over. We’ll take one of everything.
When choosing colour palettes, Beed stuck to theme. “St Palma represents the rich earthy tones paired with the nautical hues of the Australiana coast. It is raw and natural, and I felt the change to these base tones best represented the feel of this collection,” she says.
As for the customer, Beed feels the St Palma fits with the Rue Stiic girl to a T. “The Rue Stiic woman is coastal-luxe but also a little bit Western. She’s effortlessly feminine and timeless,” she says.
So what will the Rue Stiic woman be wearing this season? Beed nods to fresh, crisp shapes with classic linens and textured cottons, in pastel hues, whites and prints. “Summer is all about being easy, and I believe these shapes and textures and colours will be just that,” she confirms. Want to know where to wear your Rue Stiic pieces? Beed has some advice on that, too.
Tie top: “Paired with worn vintage denim, high-waisted shorts and leather slides for day-to-day life.”
Shorts: “On a balmy evening at the beach, worn over still-damp bikinis from a late afternoon swim.”
Jumpsuit: “To the local Sunday morning Farmer’s Market with a straw basket on her arm and a wide-brim straw hat.”
