Not all sports bras are created equal. They might look the same - but guurl, they ain’t! Your fluro pink sports bra you wear to almost erry yoga class, might not hold the twins in place during your spin class. And every big-busted woman that has had to brace her arms while running - will understand that finding the right sports bra is imperative (all that bouncing can hurt someone!). 

To get the girls in motion (and to ease the pain) we’ve put together a list of the best sports bras and athleisure looks for each type of exercise. Whether you’re into boxing, cardio or getting a bod like Khloe Kardashian - we’ve got you and your breasts set! 


Between all the jabs and uppercuts, you’re going to want a bra that’ll keep everything in place. Also, you don’t want to be giving yourself a black eye (if you know what we mean *wink*). As boxing incorporates a bit of cardio you’re bound to get a little sweaty. Look for athleisure that’s comfortable and easy to move in - think tights, comfy shoes, a Rocky-inspired bomber jacket and a multi-purpose bag to carry it all in, for a K.O outfit. 


Ready, set, go! When it comes to cardio you’re going to want a sports bra that moves with your body, but also keeps you well-ventilated. Look for a sports bra with thick straps to keep you secure during high-impact activities as well as built-in cups (no uniboob here) to keep the ladies apart and limit cleavage-sweat (yes, they call it that!). Finish the look with a P.E. Nation combo for a stylish “I’m going running” look.


Your yoga class is all about finding your balance. And, it’ll be pretty hard to do that if you’ve got your boobs flopping about when you’re trying to master your latest yoga pose. For this low-impact studio session, you’ll need a sports bra that fits comfortably and allows you to breathe! Most importantly you’ll want one that’s secure for those upside down moves. Bring your fave yoga mat and colourful tights and you’ve got a look that’ll take you from Warrior 1 to post-workout matcha latte. 


Considering Kayla Itsines spends most of her day in athleisure, we trust she knows her stuff. As for spinning, you’ll want a sports bra that’s super comfy and chafe-free! Look for one that has a wide band underneath for extra support and is made of cotton fabric for easy breathing (and less sweating). Pair your sports bra with stand-out shorts and you’re ready to ride. 


As weights don’t require a lot of moving per se, you’re going to want a crop top that’ll feel like a second skin. Look for crisscross straps for movement minus the chafing and irritation - making it super-comfy for all those deadlifts. Keep your weight outfit simple: stretchy tights and supportive shoes will do the trick.
