It’s a Mexican invasion! Gone are the glory days of a good ol Sunday roast, the go-to spag bol, or BBQ chicken and gravy… Tacos are officially Australia’s fave food. Dare we say it; they could just be our new National Dish. All hail the taco.
Our taco and tortilla intake is off the chain. We’re buying more than ever before, according to recent supermarket data that revealed a 7% increase in the sale of Mexican meal kits annually. That’s truckloads of tacos!
So, in the wise words of Speedy Gonzales, “Ándale! Ándale! Arriba! Arriba!” Hurry up and stuff your faces with these Mexican-inspired dishes and consider your taco inspo sorted.
