Aca-mazing news, Pitchers

Pitch Perfect 3 is coming!

Take a look whats happening #BTS.

Way back in 2015 Anna Kendrick let slip that there would be a third installment of Pitch Perfect. Since then we’ve waited patiently, contenting ourselves with multiple viewings of the first two movies, a capella sing-a-longs with friends, and quoting the modern masterpiece at every op.

Here’s what we know so far...

So, who’s back? Only the entire OG cast! OGs represent! Yep; expect hilarity and sensational singing from Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee and Ester Dean.

Rebel Wilson is also returning to the Pitch Perfect 3 set, and she’s joined by fellow Aussie and Justin Bieber doppelganger, Ruby Rose. Details about her character are being kept hush-hush, so watch this space for updates.

Love her or hate her, Hailee Steinfeld will be reprising her role as Emily.

Newbie Andy Allo (aka Prince’s protégée) is sure to bring some serious musical cred to the film.

The PP3 release date is set for December 22 – best Christmas present, ever!

Due to demanding mummy duties, Elizabeth Banks will not be directing Pitch Perfect 3. Instead, she’s handing the reigns to Trish Sie. Don’t worry, though, Banks will still be appearing in the film as Gail and act as producer.

Rebel gets physical!

Bonding: the crew who rollerskates together, stays together!

Don’t cry, but Skylar Astin (Treblemaker Jesse) and Ben Platt (Benji) will not be in Pitch Perfect 3.

Whether you set fires to feel joy, or appreciate acappella sing-a-longs with sock puppets, take the edge off your Pitch Perfect appetite with a fix of our favourite scenes from the first two films.
