They want whaaa?
Big egos and backstage demands...
… to all the star style from your fave celebs!
You can get away with craaaaaazy things when you’re rich and famous. And celebrity tour riders [the golden pieces of paper that list who needs what and where when celebs are coming to town] are a beautiful thing. Why? Coz they let you see all the weird and wonderful demands some celebs make, costume requests and menu needs.
Rumour has it some celebs include outlandish requests just to test that the venue staff read the riders. For reals! But other stars are just plain picky.
TBH, we can forgive our fave stars cause they always (usually) also bring their A-game with their big egos on tour and let’s face it, we want to be them.
Self-centred and fussy? Yes. Stylish and rockin’ their looks? You betcha! Check out the craziest celeb demands around and the styles we want to wear...
The Biebs may have revamped his bad boy image but he still has a pretty long list of what he needs backstage. Ping pong tables, Playstation 4s, yoga books and gummie bears. Sounds like the ingredients for an interesting party right?
But the guy can rock a relaxed pant and jump around on stage with the best of them...
Mariah’s diva status is no secret. She literally once insisted that 20 white kittens and 100 white doves be released as she sung in London. Casual. Other requests include an assistant specifically to dispose of her gum and another to walk backwards in front of her just in case she falls over. Seems low-maintenance right?
The woman does, however, know how to sparkle in sequins on stage…
Of course Kanye, the self-professed musical god, has a couple of crazy demands. He’ll only dab the sweat off himself with Versace towels (at $400 each, they’re a little fancier than the ones you find at K-mart).
Love him or hate him, Yeezy is one cool dude, who knows how to strut.
In one of her riders, Mumma Monster requested a mannequin with puffy, pink pubic hair for her dressing room. Say wha? Also, an entire smoothie station. Plus a bowl of guac and range of cheeses served on ice. She’s not about that sweaty, soggy cheese.
What Gaga is about? Her own, unique stage style. Oh if we could be so brave...
