Amal and George Clooney’s baby news
Bachie no more.
News from our heartthrob.
Are they? America’s once most eligible bachelor George Clooney and wife Amal were spied by The Daily Mail, walking hand in hand near their Berkshire home. The masthead then questioned what was really behind Amal’s “loose-fitting cream sweater”.
Sure, it’s winter in Old Blimey and a knit would be considered weather appropriate, and sure, she’s at home and is probably dressing for comfort, but….
The rumours are now flying. A day later, Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan and Susannah Reid were asking just this question of the Clooneys.
“Is it a floaty frock, or a bit of wind?” asked Morgan.
The Daily Mail’s pictures show Amal matching that cream knit with a khaki jacket, black denim and knee-high brown boots, while, looking every bit the English gentleman, George wore a tweed hat, scarf and duffle coat.
Heartthrob George Clooney and Amal, a 38-year old human rights lawyer, tied the knot in a Venetian wedding ceremony in September 2014, breaking hearts and decimating the romantic aspirations internationally. Married by George’s pal Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome, and witnessed by the likes of Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Cindy Crawford and others, unfortunately it really happened. She wore Oscar De La Renta and he wore a smile that drove the knife into the hearts of unmarried women everywhere.
The pair, calling Berkshire home and Lake Como their holiday spot, are already proud parents to the rescue dog, a Basset Hound who goes by the name of Millie.
So, where did the rumours start?
The goss can be traced to Monday’s screening of the new flick, The White Helmets – and many were unsure whether Amal’s floral mini dress was hiding something.
So far there has been no word confirming or denying the rumour from the couple.
