A mutual love of fashion and beauty led to the mother-daughter team behind Florence & Marabel Collections opening their doors in the Darling Down city of Toowoomba, in October 2015. Donna and Alexandria dreamed of providing a boutique to customers that offered the latest in women’s fashion to their Queensland customers. The ladies found inspiration from an overseas trip to Florence, Italy, shortly before deciding to combine their fashion passion with a boutique business. “Our store name came from our favourite destination... Florence,” say the ladies.

In store you’ll find quality Australian brands, alongside international labels including Mela Purdie, Jac + Jack, We Are Kindred, Binny, Elms & King and Shona Joy, offering shoppers classic, feminine and elegant pieces.

Our style is...

Our overall style is a mix of both of our individual styles. Polished bohemian-luxe and effortless classic chic. Being mother and daughter we both have similar individual styles with slight variations. Donna is structured, edgy and loves unique prints. Alex loves modern bohemian prints with a classic, polished look.

On high rotation...

Anything by The Lumineers, Tash Sultana, Dustin Tebbutt & Paper Kites.

Toowoomba has embraced the laneway culture and the wall art in the streets is amazing. It is also the garden city so the floral garden displays in our parks are a must see in the month of September.

Do…

September is really when Toowoomba comes alive for Spring! The Flower, Food & Wine Festival is growing every year and is definitely a favourite of ours for its stunning floral displays, live music and locally produced food and wine. The City Heart Fashion Event is also a must see in September. It showcases the wonderful fashion on offer here in Toowoomba from locally owned boutiques. And to top off the month of September The Spring Polo debuted last year and we're really looking forward to the second one this year!
