Design duo Marijana Golic and Tanya Emon of Sydney-based label Tato & Memi, continue to impress with every collection. The label, which began just over two years ago, has continued to astonish their ever growing fan base and clientele.

Golic and Emon both have comprehensive background in the fashion industry. Beginning their careers with some of the hottest designers both here in Australia and internationally, the pair have a design pedigree that money cannot buy.

Marijana Golic worked with leading Australian designer Michael Bracewell before heading to the United Kingdom to immerse herself in the inspiration of London’s top high street retailers. This exposure has lead Golic to senior design roles back in Australia before teaming up with Emon to create their own label.

Tanya Emon has worked with international fashion powerhouse Prada and forged a portfolio of experience both here in Australia and internationally. Following her departure from Prada, Emon took up residence as a designer with well-known Australian fashion queen Carla Zampatti.

From their modest beginning, focusing on creating fabulous individual pieces for a select group of retailers, Tato & Memi have now built up a solid following drawing more and more attention from the industry. Working together has enabled the visionary pair to develop their passion for bold prints and intricate trims. Constantly moving into new seasons whilst maintaining their signature style, the talented pair always deliver a blossoming collection which highlights the brand’s commitment to fun, style and femininity.
