OHARA is the creation of Sydney sisters Kash and Clare O'Hara and since the brand’s inception in 2007, it has become known for subtly sexy designs combined with luxurious fabrics.

With a loyal clientele and celebrity following, the O'Hara sisters have captured the attention of both the media and the fashion industry.

The O’Hara sisters also made a splash with their eye-catching designs during the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week 2010 where they launched their first Ready to Wear collection called “Travel the World by Sea”. Using beautiful silk fabrics, bold prints, vibrant colours and drawing inspiration from some of their favourite cities around the world,

OHARA made a definite impact with the crowd of fashion buyers and media present. In 2008 the duo were selected to showcase their range at Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival and were asked to show again the following year. The stylish and sophisticated designs by OHARA have seen the sisters awarded runners up in the Best Fashion Accessory Designer Award at the 2009 Fashion Palette, runners up at the Australian Wool Fashion Awards in 2010 and a finalist in the 2010 Australian FTV online Designer Awards.

Despite the youth of the brand, the extensive industry exposure and positive reception has caught the attention of Sydney’s famous glitterati, including the likes of Jackie O, Kate Ritchie, Kate Mac and Lizzy Lovette, who are all fans of the label. Their client base is continuing to grow amongst women who appreciate real style.
