Sarah Jane Adams began her jewellery 'apprenticeship' in the markets of London in the heady days of the 1980's. Now based in Sydney, she has supplied original antique jewels and gems to the International antique trade for 30 years.

The Saramai jewellery label is a natural development of this never ending quest for beautiful and wearable treasures.
During her voyages around the world searching for antique jewels Sarah Jane has recognised the passionate desire women have for vintage jewellery. Realising that the genuine piece is too often elusive, Sarah Jane has compiled an ever growing collection of antique inspired jewellery which is in turn, evocative, charming, whimsical and classic.

This is the world of Saramai.

Sarah Jane pays homage to the Master jewellers from centuries past. She draws inspiration from craftsmen and women who, over time, have understood the meaning of beauty and wearability.

Saramai jewellery is made using precious metals; Silver, 9ct and 18ct gold. Every piece is hand set with natural gemstones and/or freshwater pearls.

Sarah Jane uses her vast knowledge of antique jewellery and gems to bring opulent combinations of colour and form. Techniques such as patination add to the vintage styling. Each range has a different inspiration, and is constantly evolving.

Luscious gold work from the early Etruscans through to the exaggerated styles worn by the newly liberated woman of the 1950's means that the jewellery is worn by women of all ages and styles. Including Britney.
