Elle Macpherson Intimates Autumn Winter Collection 2011 sparkles with promise and excitement. Reflecting a fresh optimism, the fashion-conscious shopper is spoilt for choice this season with fresh prints, directional shapes and a sophisticated colour palette.
Creative Director, Elle Macpherson, talks of spirited styles, luxurious fabrics and her highly anticipated new t-shirt bra collection, Bare and Bold.
Bare and Bold makes its debut this season. The collection of t-shirt bras uses a smooth slinky knit fabric over expertly cut moulded cups, providing the ultimate shape and support. Available in a strapless, plunge cup, push-up and underwire style with a range of three styles of briefs to select from. The Bare and Bold briefs are designed with a clever double layer fold-back to ensure the vital no visible panty line under your clothes.
“I wanted to ensure this collection was functional and comfortable under clothes while still being desirable. Lingerie is an emotional purchase for women even when it comes to the t-shirt bra. The fit, style and look must be perfect. Bare and Bold offers the ultimate silhouette regardless of the profile you choose”, says Elle.
Cleverly this range gives you the option to have lace trim on your Bare and Bold t-shirt bra and brief or simply go for the smooth and simpler style. Available in black, white or American nude. RRPs for the bras is $49.95 and the briefs are $24.95.
Elle’s Autumn Winter Intimates main range collection features Artistry (pictured) in a stunning White and Dreamy Lemon combination. Lily Pond which comes in a subtle Purple shade (pictured) is the ultimate in feminine styling using a delicate stretch lace and finished with a contrasting satin trim. Cloud Swing is a beautiful balconette bra with sleek under-bust band detailing. Skylight in a Prussian Blue Print (pictured) features a pleated top cup on the bra and side of the briefs with a stretch grosgrain ribbon and button motif detail. This set looks fabulous and doesn’t ruffle under clothes. And Serengeti Plains in Prussian Blue, Elle’s take on the zebra print in a jacquard design with contrasting stain lining and a grosgrain burnt orange bow.
A special addition arrives in April, Elle’s bridal set. The ultimate set for your special day, complete with strapless torsolette, contour bra, strapless bra, suspender (pictured), garter belt and also offered in Elle’s D-G sizing. This season Afterwear takes the lingerie collection’s lead using an honest clean colour palette in a range of must-have chemises. The collection includes; Cloud Swing, Cup Cake, Dentelle, Spree and Gentle Jade.
