Since opening their Paddington store in October 2008, 3 Wise Men have firmly secured their place in the Australian fashion market by staying true to their objective of providing fashionable, top-notch gear at an affordable price.

“We seem to have hit a vein of demand among men. It’s a classic men’s fashion equation – a classic shirt design, top quality cottons and excellent construction, with a twist of design flair, states Richard Miles, 3 Wise Men’s owner.

3 Wise Men have engaged Space Studio, to design the retail space in the Mid City Centre. “The design concept is unlike any other men’s shirt offer in Australia” says Miles. “The environment has a semi industrial feel to the fit out, but most importantly will be a very easy environment for men to shop in”.

“We are very excited about finally having a presence in the Sydney CBD. Good retail leases have been extremely tightly held over the last 18 months and the opportunity to secure space in the Mid City Centre could not come soon enough” says Miles.

3 Wise Men will use the Mid City Centre store to also run their very popular “office visit” program from. 3 Wise Men recognize that its core customers are often time poor so to make it easier, 3 Wise Men take their range to business board rooms around the city, take orders and deliver that afternoon.

Their internet presence has been an essential ingredient to 3 Wise Men’s success, enjoying tremendous growth over the last 12 months. “We have two types of customers” says Miles, “one is the person who has made an initial purchase in our store, knows their size and simply does his repeat purchases online. The other is the person who cannot travel to our retail store and therefore uses the internet to fulfill his shirt fetish.”

The site, www.3wisemen.com.au has Australia’s largest range of 100% cotton business shirts and silk ties. Miles intends to further develop the site to offer double the amount of shirts on offer to over 200 styles.

With the exponential growth experienced in the Paddington and online store, Miles anticipates the Mid-City to be the first of more store openings in Australia, with his eye specifically on the Canberra and Melbourne markets.
